The Youth Diplomatic Association of the United Nations consists of members such as:
– Delegate members representing different states
– Active members
– Benefactors
– Honorary members
Those who accept the obligations contained in the present Charter and judgment of the association can become a member of Youth Diplomatic Association of the United Nations, and they should be able to fulfillthese obligations.
Members:
– Delegates members from each country are those who have made a commitment to pay an annual fee.
– Active members are those who are active in organizing various activities organized by the association and have undertaken to pay an annual fee.
– Benefactors are those who do not pay an entry fee. (Free Membership).
– Honorary members are those who have rendered outstanding services to the association. (Free Membership).
Membership of the association is withdrawn if:
a) Resignation: Board member whofails to attend three consecutive meetings without a reasonable excuse will be considered to have resigned.
b) Death
c) Cancellation: Delivered by the Board for non-payment of dues or for a good cause, the applicant who has been invited to appear to the board to explain. A Member if persistently violated the principles contained in the present Charter of Association, may be expelled from the association by the decision of the Board of Directors (President, Secretary, and Treasurer) or the General Assembly. The accession of the Member may be suspended or reinstated thereafter.
Members and representatives of the association residing in countries around the world:
– In the performance of their duties, members shall not seek or receive instructions from any government or from any other authority external to the organization.
– Each Member of the Association undertakes to respect the charter of the association and its international character.
– They must perform their duties by respecting the international and domestic laws of their place of residence.
