This council is specializing in health and humanitarian international aid demonstrates solidarity. This council provides support to information and guidance for people in difficulty facing the humanitarian emergencies. It conducts responses to emergencies such as the food crisis (the poorest families) or global public health (strengthening health systems to provide services to all, especially to the poorest and most people vulnerable over the world). This advice helps families in conflicts between countries at war.
This will be the aim of cooperation for development:
• Contribute to the definition of multi-year public health goals, assess the implementation of international public health goals and contribute to the annual monitoring;
• Provide the United Nations and Member States, in conjunction with the health agencies, the necessary expertise in the management of health risks and the design and evaluation of policies and prevention and safety strategies;
• Provide the UN and member states prospective reflections and advice on public health issues.
It can be accessed by the UN and other NGOs on any matter relating to the prevention, safety or performance of the health system.
